Senior Architect - DC Network Engineering

About the role

The Senior Architect – DC Network Engineering will lead the design and decision‑making for Core42’s data‑center network (DCN) infrastructure. This role ensures scalability, lifecycle management and performance of the network while aligning with application requirements and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and verify DCN functionalities for Core42 products, platforms and supporting services.
• Communicate design decisions, technology roadmaps and cost structures to internal stakeholders, procurement and finance.
• Prepare and approve RFI/RFP/RFQ documents and BOQ for network devices.
• Approve high‑level and low‑level DCN designs for new deployments, ensuring performance, scalability and reliability.
• Optimize existing DCN topologies and approve architecture changes.
• Approve complex WAN/LAN scalable solutions with focus on high‑availability, redundancy and resiliency.
• Validate integration with external/partner networks such as private networking peering or network‑to‑network peering.
• Enforce security policies and regulatory compliance for the DCN.
• Coordinate a technical team of architects and engineers during solution documentation.
• Lead vendor communications for technology selection and solution review.
• Present solutions to clients, maintain client relationships, and propose disaster‑recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecom Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in data‑center network design and implementation.
• Extensive experience in network design, planning and performance optimization.
