Senior Architect

About the role

PMKConsult, an award‑winning project, commercial and design management consultancy, is seeking a Senior Architect to lead multidisciplinary design teams for mixed‑use developments in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality design solutions while ensuring compliance with client requirements, BIM standards, and HSE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, overseeing design delivery, quality, and coordination.
• Manage design programmes, resources, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Conduct client, consultant, and stakeholder meetings, presentations, and relationship management.
• Review and coordinate design information, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress, risks, changes, issues, and critical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, BIM protocols, HSE regulations, and relevant local regulations.
• Control scope, information flow, and document management according to PMKConsult procedures.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve design issues, identify improvements, and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design or a related discipline.
• Extensive design management experience on mixed‑use projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams and delivering design outcomes.
• Strong client and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving, coordination and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of HSE and design risk management.
