Senior Associate, SEO

About the role

WPP Media is looking for a Senior Associate, SEO to join its growing Organic Search team in Dubai. The role sits within the Organic Performance team, which helps clients improve performance and user experience across digital assets through organic (non-paid) channels such as organic search, content optimization and integrated search.

Key responsibilities

• Execute SEO strategy by understanding the client's products, competition, industry landscape, marketing goals and objectives.
• Manage the workflow of organic search tasks for clients and keep track of client roadmaps and requirements.
• Deliver projects on time while multitasking, and present deliverables, strategies and results at client and agency meetings.
• Monitor and evaluate SEO performance against client KPIs such as traffic, rankings, conversions and technical SEO score.
• Analyze competitor sites and perform keyword research, grouping keywords by theme and prioritizing by volume, intent and relevance.
• Carry out gap analysis and research on the niche, trending topics and competitors to propose content ideas.
• Optimize on-page elements such as metadata, heading tags, URLs and alt attributes.
• Run technical audits of crawling, indexing, duplication, structured data and core web vitals, and review regular crawls to assess site health.
• Collaborate with the Organic Performance team, the Paid Search team, client teams and third-party developers, and stay current with industry trends and Google's algorithm changes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of SEO experience in a digital media agency or in-house.
• Attention to detail, ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to keep up with Google's algorithm changes and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML.
• Understanding of paid media (PPC, social, display) is desirable but not essential.
