Senior Audit Associate – IGH Audits

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior Audit Associate specializing in IGH audits to join our team for the FY25 hiring session. The role starts on October 1 2024, with interviews beginning in June 2024.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and finalising IGH audit assignments for manager/partner review.
• Produce work papers, highlight issues and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables and attend meetings.
• Conduct strategic analysis and identify business and audit risks in the IGH sector.
• Assess effectiveness of client processes and controls within Infrastructure, Governance, Healthcare, Real Estate, Construction, Oil & Gas.
• Perform higher‑risk and non‑routine audit functions and supervise junior team members.
• Apply KPMG Audit Manual, methodology and relevant industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent; ACCA (minimum 9 papers), CPA (2 papers) or ICAEW professional stage completed.
• At least 2 years postgraduate experience with recent IGH audit exposure and strong accounting knowledge of the sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing, listening).
• Computer literacy and ability to work independently and proactively.
