Senior Azure AI Architect

About the role

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Senior Azure AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade Azure AI solutions. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to create innovative, secure, and scalable AI platforms that address current and future business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for Azure AI solutions covering GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, AI Search, integration, security, observability and AI Factory patterns.
• Create reference architectures, solution blueprints, technical assumptions and proof‑of‑concept plans, guiding MVPs from environment setup to monitoring.
• Embed guardrails, content safety, identity, access control and human oversight into all designs.
• Collaborate with IT, data, security and enterprise architecture stakeholders during technical discovery.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years in solution, cloud, data or AI architecture or platform engineering.
• 4‑5+ years designing Azure solutions, preferably with production AI implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI, RAG, LLM applications, MLOps/LLMOps or AI platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of secure enterprise integration, identity, APIs, private networking and cloud governance.

• Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, data integration.
• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management.
• Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, private endpoints, VNet integration, RBAC, logging.
• Python (mandatory).
• Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate.
