About the role
Tether.io is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to drive the development of MiningOS, a platform that improves operational efficiency of Bitcoin mining sites, and MDK, a developer toolkit aimed at becoming the industry standard for mining solutions. The role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with a global team of fintech and blockchain experts.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain micro‑service components for MiningOS and MDK.
- Ensure high security standards and awareness across all backend services.
- Integrate peer‑to‑peer technologies and blockchain interactions into the product suite.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, reserve‑backed token solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong passion for fintech, blockchain, and digital finance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
