Senior Bay Host

About the role

Viya, the UAE's leading golf and hospitality management group, is hiring a Senior Bay Host for its Topgolf venue in Abu Dhabi. The role sits in the Food & Beverage Service department, reports to the Hospitality Manager and Assistant Hospitality Manager, and focuses on delivering expert, welcoming service to guests while facilitating gameplay.

Key responsibilities

• Keep bays clean and ready for guests and greet each guest immediately in a friendly way
• Help guests understand and enjoy the game, including safety rules, bay features and a game demo
• Engage with guests, introduce them to new food and beverage options and suggest premium menu items to enhance their experience and maximise revenue
• Offer food and beverages, handle cash and credit cards efficiently, and clear and reset tables when needed
• Follow responsible alcohol service rules, health and safety procedures, and service standards (timeliness, quality, accuracy, sanitation)
• Report hazards and maintenance needs immediately, and attend daily pre-shift and department meetings
• Apply the club's mission, vision, core values and the four service targets to internal and external customers
• Participate in committees such as the Staff, Green Theme, Food and Sport Committees, and be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider
• Comply with information security policies, cooperate with audit teams and report security incidents to the IT Service Desk
