Senior BIM Architecture Engineer

About the role

The Senior BIM Architecture Engineer will report to the Project Lead and work closely with technical and BIM teams to develop, coordinate and maintain architectural Building Information Models throughout all project phases. The role ensures delivery of accurate, coordinated, information‑rich models and documentation that meet project requirements, BIM standards and design intent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain architectural BIM models from concept to handover, adhering to project standards and workflows.
• Produce model‑based deliverables such as drawings, schedules, details and documentation with high technical accuracy.
• Manage model geometry, data and level of detail to support design development, multidisciplinary coordination and construction.
• Maintain model health, file integrity, naming conventions, view templates and content standards.
• Conduct model federation, clash detection and coordination with structural, MEP and specialist disciplines, tracking and supporting issue resolution.
• Provide technical BIM input to resolve coordination challenges while preserving design intent and buildability.
• Review models and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance with specifications.
• Extract quantities, schedules and model data for design reviews, reporting and downstream construction deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of BIM processes, architectural workflows and standards such as ISO 19650, LOD/LOI, IFC and COBie.
• Proven experience in architectural BIM modelling, coordination, drawing production and clash detection.
• Ability to work safely, adhere to HSE and quality policies and report any violations.

Required skills

• Revit (families, templates, shared parameters, data extraction)
• Navisworks (clash detection, model federation)
• AutoCAD
• Knowledge of BIM standards: ISO 19650, LOD/LOI, IFC, COBie
• Model health management and naming conventions
