Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative – Cardiology (Qatar)

About the role

Amgen is seeking a senior professional to drive the promotion of its cardiovascular portfolio in the Qatar market while based in Dubai. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver key messages to healthcare providers and support patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans.
• Evaluate monthly progress versus plan and agree on course corrections.
• Contribute to cluster/territory teams and coordinate with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Value & Access teams.
• Engage with peers, district manager and cross‑functional teams to enhance product knowledge.
• Stay informed on industry and healthcare trends, retail practices, clinics and hospitals.
• Follow through on customer commitments and requests promptly.
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and keep profiles up to date.
• Utilize Amgen’s selling platform to meet customer and company needs.
• Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities.
• Prioritize activities, seek assistance when needed, and maintain timely follow‑up.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and selling skills through self‑learning and training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales with a consistent record of achieving results.
• Preferred experience in cardiovascular, endocrinology or biotechnology fields.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including CRM databases and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑accountable for meeting established goals.
• Effective time‑management abilities.
