Senior C# / .NET Developer

About the role

An experienced C#/.NET developer is sought to join a development team in Dubai. The role involves designing and building enterprise applications, services and APIs for clients in the investment management industry, including integration with trading platforms and modernization of existing systems. The work is done in person at the office in Dubai.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on, professional C#/.NET development experience (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
• Proven experience designing or developing enterprise-level applications, ideally mission-critical systems.
• Currently living in the UAE and/or holding valid UAE residency.

Required skills

• Building and integrating REST APIs and services, with error handling, logging and reliability.
• Strong SQL, including stored procedures and triggers.
• Design patterns, layered architecture and clean, testable code.
• Git, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Charles River (CRD) or other OMS/trading platforms, and familiarity with investment management or financial markets, are a plus.
