Senior Card Application Support

About the role

The Senior Card Application Support professional will provide application support for payment and acquiring systems, ensuring timely resolution of user requests and incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage application support requests efficiently and work with business users to provide guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, service requests, and incidents using ServiceNow/Helpdesk in line with ITIL standards.
• Identify and resolve issues through root‑cause analysis, remediation and user feedback.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve support issues and monitor SLA performance.
• Support incident and change management processes and produce reports for management.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in application support, preferably in banking or payments.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong understanding of payment/acquiring applications and related business processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.

Required skills

• ServiceNow or similar Helpdesk ticketing system.
• ITIL framework knowledge.
• Experience with payment/acquiring application support.
• Vendor coordination and SLA tracking.
