Senior Commercial Manager - Data Centre

About the role

Currie & Brown is recruiting a Senior Commercial Manager for a data centre development project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role supports project leaders in delivering a high standard of service, achieving successful outcomes for clients, sharing knowledge across projects and strengthening the firm's reputation as a preferred service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients
• Analyse project data efficiently
• Manage, lead and coordinate a team of cost, contracts and commercial managers in a live project environment
• Set up and run workshops to achieve the required cost savings
• Prepare ad-hoc high-level strategic proposals as needed
• Deliver projects, commissions and professional assignments
• Maintain effective communication and liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
• Perform commercial management services with limited supervision and deliver work accurately and on time
• Meet, negotiate and correspond with clients professionally to maintain strong relationships

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
• 10-15 years of technical delivery experience in a global construction consultancy
• Pre- and post-contract experience
• Experience across a variety of sectors and projects in the Middle East
• Experience advising on and administering contractual matters
• Experience managing and leading commercial and contracts management teams in live projects
