Senior Consultant – Capital Projects (Civil Engineer)

About the role

The Senior Consultant will support and execute governance, risk and compliance (GRC) advisory engagements for large‑scale capital projects, including real‑estate developments, infrastructure and mixed‑use assets. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to handover, and providing risk‑focused guidance to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit engagements across feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover phases.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, risk appetite frameworks and control matrices tailored to capital projects.
• Design to‑be processes, SOPs and operating models for project delivery and operations.
• Establish PMO frameworks, project dashboards, KPIs and MIS reporting to monitor cost, schedule, quality and investment performance.
• Perform cost benchmarking, value engineering and support contract reviews, especially FIDIC‑based contracts.
• Assist in assessments of cost control, schedule management, change management and contractor performance.
• Support client interactions, prepare reports and presentations for steering committees and senior management.
• Coach junior associates and contribute to proposal development and thought leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 4–6 years of experience in capital‑project advisory, internal audit, risk management or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
