Senior Consultant – Cloud Security Architect

About the role

KPMG Middle East is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead cloud security architecture engagements for clients across the region. You will combine deep technical expertise with advisory skills to help organisations adopt secure cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for Azure landing zones, including identity, networking, logging, governance, encryption, workload protection and monitoring.
• Support security architecture across Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS and OCI environments and guide clients through secure lift‑and‑shift migrations.
• Assess existing cloud environments against baselines such as CIS, NIST, ISO and cloud provider best practices.
• Deliver automation of security controls, posture reporting and risk dashboards.
• Participate in presales, proposal development and business development activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud security architecture and consulting, preferably with Big‑4 background.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Azure landing zone design and Microsoft 365 security.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management).
• Experience with security assessments, control framework mapping and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
