Senior Consultant - Forensics, Ethics & Compliance

About the role

KPMG's Forensic practice is expanding its Ethics & Compliance capability in the UAE and is looking for a Senior Consultant. You will deliver ethics and compliance solutions to clients, supporting framework design, investigations and risk assessments, and produce high-quality deliverables in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance Ethics & Compliance frameworks, and lead compliance transformation initiatives and target operating model design.
• Conduct compliance and forensic investigations, such as fraud and misconduct cases.
• Establish third-party risk management and diligence processes.
• Perform compliance and fraud risk assessments and gap analyses with actionable remediation plans.
• Ensure deliverables align with global and local regulatory requirements, and advise on emerging compliance risks, enforcement trends and industry guidance, especially in the energy and oil & gas sectors.
• Manage client engagements for accuracy, timeliness and quality, and supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Identify business development opportunities, prepare proposals and take part in client pitches.
• Report progress on assignments to the performance manager, team leader or manager.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Forensic, Compliance or Risk Management.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks, investigations or risk assessment work, ideally in a consulting, advisory or regulated industry setting.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles.
• Progress toward professional certifications such as CFE, CCEP or ICA is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Interest in or exposure to the energy / oil & gas sectors is desirable.
