Senior CSE Engineer (Solution)

About the role

The Senior CSE Engineer (Solution) provides technical expertise to select the optimal KONE product for each customer. The role translates customer requirements into product specifications, coordinates all engineering activities and ensures a smooth hand‑over to maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to define the best non‑standard KONE solution for each project.
• Plan product costing, including supply‑line, installation, maintenance and project‑management expenses.
• Create detailed product specifications for corporate and local materials.
• Perform energy calculations, traffic analyses and technical site surveys.
• Manage product lead times, availability and installability, ensuring feasibility of non‑standard installations.
• Guarantee maintainability and compliance with local codes and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering experience in elevator, escalator or related vertical‑transport solutions.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering work from design to hand‑over.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards and compliance procedures.
• Experience with non‑standard solution design and tendering processes.
