About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Dangerous Goods Specialist to lead compliance, classification, documentation, packaging, labeling and transportation requirements for hazardous materials across our logistics network. The role is fully remote and reports to the global compliance team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement dangerous goods policies, standards, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Classify hazardous items, review Safety Data Sheets, determine packing groups, labels and transport requirements for air, sea, road and rail shipments.
- Monitor regulatory changes, translate them into updated procedures, training and operational controls.
- Conduct audits of logistics providers, warehouses and carriers to ensure adherence to dangerous‑goods standards.
- Investigate shipment discrepancies, packaging failures or incidents and lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain dangerous‑goods registers, documentation control and emergency‑response information.
