Senior Electronics Hardware & Embedded Engineer

About the role

Ultiwise Consult is hiring a Senior Electronics Hardware & Embedded Engineer for its Engineering department in Dubai, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The role covers the complete product development lifecycle of automotive electronic products, from concept and design through prototyping, testing, validation and production support. The salary is AED 13,000 - 15,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of electronic hardware for automotive products and smart devices, including schematics, PCB layout and firmware architecture.
• Select and integrate microcontrollers, sensors, power management circuits and wireless modules (Bluetooth, RF, Wi-Fi).
• Work with embedded software engineers, mechanical, industrial design, manufacturing and quality teams, and run DFM and DFT reviews.
• Ensure compliance with automotive and international standards such as EMI/EMC, CE, FCC and ISO 9001:2015, and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop embedded firmware, RTOS applications, Linux device drivers and BSPs, and implement CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, SPI, I2C and other interfaces.
• Support NPD and NPI, and take part in code reviews and validation with lab instruments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electronics hardware or embedded systems, preferably in automotive OEM electronics or automotive accessory product development.
• Proven track record of delivering products from concept through production.

Required skills

• Analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout and high-speed signal integrity.
• Altium Designer, Eagle or KiCad; C/C++ and assembly for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, NXP LPC, PIC).
• RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, mbed) and embedded Linux (Yocto, BSPs, device drivers).
• Wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RF, IR) and automotive protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, J1939).
