Senior ELV Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior ELV Technician to lead the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and maintenance of CCTV, access control and integrated ELV systems across projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves supervising site technicians, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and delivering high‑quality, on‑time solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and commission IP CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs, VMS, storage and video analytics.
• Install, program and integrate access control solutions such as controllers, card readers, biometric devices, electronic locks, turnstiles, speed gates and barriers.
• Perform basic network tasks – IP addressing, VLANs, PoE switches, structured cabling, patching and labeling.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, resolve technical issues within SLA and supervise junior technicians and subcontractors.
• Prepare as‑built drawings, service reports and handover documentation, and provide end‑user training.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications or related field.
• 6–8 years of ELV experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence and good English communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with IP CCTV and enterprise access control systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, PoE, structured cabling (Cat6, fiber optics) and cable termination.
• Familiarity with Lenel OnGuard, Hanwha Vision/Wisenet cameras, SSM/WAVE VMS, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, Suprema/BioStar or Honeywell platforms.
• Understanding of ADMCC (Abu Dhabi) and SIRA (Dubai) regulatory requirements.
