Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to lead full‑cycle accounting, reporting and compliance for our trading operations in the UAE. The role will ensure accurate IFRS‑compliant financial statements and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting, month‑end and year‑end closing, delivering IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports for senior management and shareholders.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and profitability assessments.
• Lead reconciliations of client deposits, withdrawals, trading commissions, swaps, spreads, LP costs and platform‑generated revenues.
• Oversee daily and monthly reconciliations between MT5 trading platforms, bridge systems, CRM platforms, payment gateways and the General Ledger.
• Calculate P&L, coordinate with Risk Management, Dealing and Operations teams for accurate revenue recognition.
• Manage Liquidity Provider settlements, margin deposits, trading fees, rebates and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and approve sales team and Introducing Broker commission calculations and payment schedules.
• Monitor client money balances, cash flows and settlement processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle VAT compliance, FTA correspondence and support UAE Corporate Tax filings.
• Process monthly payroll through the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS) in line with labour law.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulators and banking partners for audits and financial governance.
