Senior Fragrance Consultant - Maison Margiela

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 950 stores across the Middle East, is hiring a Senior Fragrance Consultant for Maison Margiela at Jimmy Mall in Al Ain. The role is full-time and on-site, focused on building guest experience, advising customers on fragrances and generating sales.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain guest experience standards to build strong loyalty
• Answer customer queries about products, prices, availability, uses and services
• Assess customer needs, advise on the best product ranges and demonstrate the usage and benefits of brands and products
• Generate sales and achieve line and sales targets, using makeup knowledge
• Track sell-out targets at store level and generate daily sales reports
• Contribute to incentives and track post-launch sales at store level
• Keep merchandising levels in line with brand guidelines and replenish stock on the right shelves and counters at the right times
• Report stock shortages via the stock order form and receive stock according to procedure

Required profile

• Proven expertise in fragrance, with a strong understanding of fragrance families, ingredients, layering and client consultation
• Strong knowledge of luxury retail standards and premium customer service
• Passion for fragrance, storytelling and creating personalised scent journeys for clients
• Fluent spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
