Senior Full-Stack Backend Developer

About the role

Beroea Technology is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Backend Developer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of its core web applications and services. The role is based on‑site in Dubai and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, microservices, and secure APIs.
• Architect and optimise both relational and non‑relational databases, ensuring seamless third‑party integration.
• Develop and support responsive front‑end components using modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS.
• Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion clean, testable code, drive technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor fellow developers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with senior or lead responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong system design and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and mentorship.

Required skills

• Node.js, Python, Java or .NET backend development.
• Relational and non‑relational database management.
• Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and CSS.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Containerisation with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation and Git version control.
