Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI‑Driven Solutions

About the role

AIQ, an Abu Dhabi‑based technology venture focused on industrial AI for the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver cloud‑native applications that embed advanced AI capabilities into oil and gas operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack applications that power AI‑driven solutions for oil & gas.
• Build responsive front‑ends using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular with TypeScript.
• Create robust back‑end services and APIs with Python (FastAPI) or Node.js following micro‑service and event‑driven patterns.
• Integrate AI/ML models and services into production systems and work with large‑scale structured and unstructured data.
• Deploy cloud‑native solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists and domain experts to translate requirements into production‑ready products.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently in agile environments and deliver high‑quality code.
• Experience in oil & gas or industrial digitalisation is a strong advantage.
