Senior Housekeeping Officer – Healthcare

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Officer – Housekeeping to lead housekeeping operations within a hospital environment in the UAE. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection control and patient safety while managing vendor performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control (IPC) and safety regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate housekeeping vendors against agreed KPIs.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and quality assessments.
• Identify service gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Coach, develop and lead housekeeping teams.
• Oversee cleaning procedures, materials, equipment and service standards.
• Coordinate with healthcare and facilities teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare operational reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Prior supervisory or senior‑level experience.
• UAE healthcare experience is preferred.
