Senior Information Security Analyst

About the role

The Senior Security Analyst strengthens security operations, incident management and compliance within Mediclinic Middle East, coordinating closely with other divisions. The role leads incident response across SOC partners and internal IT teams, develops response playbooks, escalation paths and reporting procedures, and defines KPIs and SLAs for managed security service providers. It is based at Mediclinic Corporate Office, Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate incident response across SOC partners and internal IT teams, and maintain playbooks, escalation paths and reporting procedures.
• Implement, monitor and optimise technical security controls across cloud, network and endpoint environments.
• Support risk assessments, vulnerability management and audit remediation.
• Define KPIs and SLAs for managed security service providers.
• Guide IT teams on corporate security frameworks and contribute to security awareness initiatives and process improvements.
• Help define security roles, auditing, data protection (in transit and at rest) and monitoring in line with approved information security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Microsoft Security Operations Analyst or equivalent.
• CISA, SSCP and CCSP certifications.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
• Good understanding of cyber hygiene, threat types and security principles.
• Experience configuring enterprise security tools; exposure to auditing and compliance; strong written and spoken English.
• Advantages: experience in a group or multi-division structure, healthcare, regulated or multinational environments, and knowledge of ADHICS.

Required skills

• Enterprise security tools such as EDR, DLP, SIEM, Mimecast and Security Awareness.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Change management methodologies and ability to lead professionals through change initiatives.
