Senior Integration Engineer – API & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer specialized in API development and workflow automation to design, build, and support enterprise‑wide integration solutions. The role focuses on creating secure, scalable APIs and connectors that link telecom platforms, service‑provider systems, and AI‑enabled services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement REST/SOAP APIs, adapters and system‑to‑system integrations.
• Build and maintain workflow automation and orchestration for end‑to‑end service delivery.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, validation and routing between integrated systems.
• Create reusable integration components and frameworks for multiple services.
• Ensure secure API communication with authentication, authorization and encryption.
• Incorporate error handling, retries, logging and monitoring for resilient integrations.
• Perform unit, integration, system and end‑to‑end testing of APIs and automated workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve defects.
• Monitor performance and reliability, recommend improvements and support production deployment.
• Maintain source code, API specifications, documentation and deployment guides.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Cyber Security, infrastructure teams, vendors and external service providers.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 48 months (4 years) of integration engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and deliver secure, scalable API and automation solutions.
• Experience working closely with architects, security and infrastructure teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex integration challenges.
