Senior Interior Designer (Hospitality)

About the role

A global architecture and interior design consultancy, based in Sharjah, UAE, is recruiting a Senior Interior Designer (Hospitality) through its client. The role leads high-profile projects from concept through completion, covering hotel brand standards, technical design and client relationships, while mentoring junior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design projects so that brand standards and client expectations are met
• Develop design plans using AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, SketchUp and Photoshop
• Work with clients to turn their vision into tangible designs
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and consultants
• Mentor junior team members
• Manage project budgets, material selection and supplier/vendor relationships
• Create storyboards, initial design directions and high-quality visualisations
• Prepare detailed working drawings and technical documentation
• Keep up with industry trends and apply innovative design solutions

Required profile

• 8-10 years of interior design experience, focused on hospitality
• Experience working with key hospitality operators
• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Team management and client account management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English

Required skills

• SketchUp, CAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of MEP and lighting integration in interior design

Salary: AED 25,000-30,000 depending on experience; location Sharjah, UAE.
