Senior Internal Auditor IMS

About the role

ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead Integrated Management System (IMS) audits across its operations, including the Shah Gas Plant and related facilities. The role involves developing audit plans, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with certified management system standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and update of the Internal Audit charter, standards, policies, procedures and IMS audit methodology.
• Develop the annual Internal IMS Audit Plan in coordination with the Manager, Internal Audit (Operations).
• Maintain the IMS audit universe covering organisational models, process models, certified standards, applications, projects and objectives.
• Plan and manage IMS audits as Lead Auditor, supervising sub‑ordinates and consultants.
• Prepare audit planning documents, define scope, process understanding and audit programmes.
• Conduct interviews, surveys and workshops to identify and assess business, conformity and compliance risks.
• Perform field verification aligned with plant operating and turnaround schedules.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, risk management and governance processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal auditing, preferably within the energy or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and certified management system standards.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage complex audit programmes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
