Senior IT Project Manager – Airline Applications

About the role

Cinergie Digital is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager to drive large‑scale programmes across airline reservation, inventory and revenue‑management domains. You will lead cross‑functional teams, own complex delivery roadmaps and ensure booking, pricing, availability and revenue‑management systems integrate cleanly and go live on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of airline reservation and revenue‑management projects from scoping to hyper‑care.
• Manage multiple customer engagements in parallel, aligning requirements, timelines and resources.
• Coordinate with third‑party solution providers, GDS partners and technology vendors to ensure smooth integration and enforceable delivery commitments.
• Oversee system migrations, API integrations, EDIFACT/NDC message flows and platform enhancements, including cut‑over planning and data reconciliation.
• Drive risk management, change control and stakeholder communication, maintaining a live risk register.
• Ensure compliance with IATA, PADIS and NDC standards and internal quality frameworks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience on large, multi‑stakeholder programmes with fixed regulatory or seasonal deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple customers and vendors concurrently without losing delivery quality.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and senior‑level stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable operating in fast‑moving airline environments where priorities shift and standards are non‑negotiable.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with airline reservation systems, PSS, GDS connectivity and revenue‑management platforms.
• Working knowledge of EDIFACT, NDC message flows and API‑based integrations.
• Experience with large‑system migrations and cut‑over planning.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Vendor and partner management, risk, change‑control and budget management.
• Familiarity with IATA, PADIS and NDC standards.
