Staff DevOps Engineer – Hybrid Cloud & SRE Lead

About the role

Lean Technologies is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the strategic evolution of its multi‑region infrastructure. You will operate at the intersection of Site Reliability Engineering and platform engineering, building scalable systems for a regulated fintech platform handling billions of dollars in transactions across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the infrastructure architecture strategy across hybrid‑cloud environments (GCP, OCI) and on‑premise data centers.
• Design and evolve Kubernetes platforms for multi‑region scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency while establishing enterprise‑grade GitOps and Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards.
• Partner with engineering leadership to drive automation, lead incident management, and mentor senior engineers across DevOps and infrastructure domains.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with a proven track record of designing and operating complex distributed systems at scale.
• Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes, Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs), and IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python or Go, with experience navigating multi‑cloud environments and high‑security compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
