Senior Manager – Audit Analytics, Automation & Innovation

About the role

Bybit is looking for a data‑analytics specialist to join its Internal Audit function. The Senior Manager will lead the design and execution of data‑driven audit solutions, covering fraud surveillance, continuous monitoring and automation of audit procedures with a focus on operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the audit analytics, automation and technology‑innovation roadmap, building and maintaining SQL‑based analytical models for population testing, anomaly detection and control effectiveness.
• Embed analytics into audit methodology across risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, exception analysis and reporting.
• Develop and operate the Fraud Risk Radar programme, creating dashboards, alert rules and near‑real‑time monitoring of suspicious employee wallet activity.
• Apply advanced AI/ML techniques such as clustering, predictive modelling and natural‑language processing to enhance audit efficiency.
• Design ETL processes to transform raw data from data warehouses, blockchain sources and internal systems into audit‑ready datasets.
• Partner with audit leads, IT and data‑engineering teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality and support continuous access to reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of data‑analytics experience, including at least 2 years supporting audit, risk, compliance or financial‑control functions.
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R for statistical analysis is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience building dashboards and visualisations.
• Familiarity with data‑warehouse architectures such as Hive, StarRocks or Spark.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, able to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in Chinese and English for business use.
