Senior Manager – Market Infrastructure (FSRA Markets)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Market Infrastructure (MI) will lead the day‑to‑day authorisation and supervision of recognised clearing houses within the FSRA Markets, with a focus on derivatives and virtual assets. Reporting to the Director (MI), the role works closely with colleagues across the Markets Department, FSRA and ADGM.

Key responsibilities

• License and supervise recognised clearing houses, especially for derivatives and virtual assets.
• Build and manage regulatory relationships with market stakeholders, including recognised bodies and regional/global regulators.
• Monitor regional and international regulatory developments and advise senior management on their impact.
• Support the Director in overseeing policy and regulatory changes within the team.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across FSRA and ADGM as required.
• Undertake additional tasks delegated by the Director.

Required profile

• Experience in licensing and supervision of market infrastructure entities such as clearing houses.
• Strong understanding of derivatives and virtual asset markets.
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external regulatory partners.
• Proven capability to contribute to regulatory policy development and implementation.
