About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing engineering tasks and managing construction and fabrication activities for major oil and gas/petrochemical projects.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee engineering tasks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage construction and fabrication phases of EPC projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12 years of experience, including 6 years on major oil & gas/petrochemical projects.
- Strong expertise in EPC project lifecycles and offshore construction, commissioning, operation, and start‑up.
- Previous experience on ARAMCO projects is an advantage.
Required skills
- Knowledge of API and ASME standards.
- Experience with EPC project lifecycles.
- Offshore construction and commissioning expertise.
