Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in rotating equipment to join a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on gas processing and compression facilities, supporting large‑scale oil and gas initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for rotating equipment in gas processing and compression projects.
• Provide technical oversight for pipeline, common utilities, and infrastructure development within gas processing plants.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and sour‑gas treatment requirements.
• Support on‑shore and off‑shore project execution, managing multi‑million‑dollar scopes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project milestones on time.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience, including EPC projects.
• At least 5 years of on‑shore and off‑shore project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or related discipline) is mandatory.
• Proven experience on gas pipeline, NGL pipeline networks, and sour‑gas treatment projects.
• Hands‑on involvement in ADNOC gas processing and pipeline projects.
