Senior Mendix Developer (with Technical Team Lead skills)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mendix Developer with strong technical team‑lead capabilities to design, build and deliver enterprise‑grade applications on the Mendix low‑code platform. The role is hands‑on, requiring you to create complex solutions while mentoring a team of developers and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable web and mobile applications on Mendix, owning the full architecture including domain models, microflows, security and performance optimisation.
• Integrate Mendix solutions with ERP, CRM and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP and OData APIs.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership: allocate tasks, guide developers, conduct code and model reviews, and enforce Mendix best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level Mendix developers and coach the team on low‑code development techniques.
• Estimate effort, plan work within Agile/Scrum sprints and manage the application lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 4 years of hands‑on Mendix development.
• Proven technical team‑lead experience: task allocation, code reviews, sprint planning and stakeholder communication.
• Strong command of Mendix domain modelling, microflows, nanoflows, page design and security.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
