Senior Network & Security Engineer – SD-WAN & Palo Alto

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer with deep hands‑on experience in Cisco SD‑WAN, enterprise routing, switching, WAN technologies and Palo Alto firewalls. The role is based in the United Arab Emirates and will operate within a Managed Services environment, delivering end‑to‑end network and security solutions for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation, testing and delivery of Managed Services network and security projects on schedule.
• Design, configure and support Cisco SD‑WAN and enterprise WAN architectures, including vManage, vSmart, vBond and vEdge/cEdge devices.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco routers, switches and configure BGP, OSPF, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, VPNs and WAN links.
• Perform packet captures, log analysis and root‑cause analysis for complex network issues.
• Gather customer requirements, assess existing infrastructure and develop migration plans.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls via Panorama, including policy creation and firewall migrations.
• Support network security incident investigations and Nokia Nuage/uCPE solutions when required.
• Troubleshoot virtualization and virtual network environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience (84 months) in network engineering and security.
• Strong customer‑facing skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable designs.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale WAN and security projects.
