Senior OutSystems Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior OutSystems Developer to lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise‑grade low‑code applications on the OutSystems platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and cross‑functional teams to create scalable, high‑quality solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of OutSystems applications, from architecture to deployment.
• Work closely with business owners and technical architects to translate requirements into robust low‑code solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in coding, testing and documentation.
• Integrate OutSystems apps with external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON and XML APIs.
• Maintain application lifecycle using OutSystems LifeTime and ensure performance, security and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on OutSystems.
• OutSystems Associate or Professional Developer certification (required); Architect certification is a strong plus.
• Prior experience on the IID (Invest in Dubai) project is preferred.

Required skills

• OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime, OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud.
• Relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• API development: REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Front‑end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React or Angular.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, OCI (preferred).
