Senior Project Management Specialist (Emirati)

About the role

The Senior Project Management Specialist will provide technical expertise for complex projects within the General Maintenance department. The role focuses on reviewing contractual claims, variation orders, and interior design proposals while ensuring compliance with legislation and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Study and review contractual claims and variation orders for complex‑classified projects, providing guidance to the supervisor.
• Prepare and evaluate interior design proposals, submitting recommendations to the supervisor.
• Review draft memoranda of understanding with external parties and coordinate notes with relevant departments.
• Analyze standard contract terms and related legislation, proposing simplifications and improvements.
• Participate in resolving engineering disputes and drafting settlement agreements.
• Apply modern project management systems and advanced architectural design software to raise technical standards.
• Conduct benchmarking studies, audit departmental processes, and prepare periodic performance reports.

Required profile

• Emirati nationality.
• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of experience in project management within construction or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, variation orders, and project cost estimation.
• Ability to work independently, provide clear guidance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
