Senior Project Manager – Development (Sharjah)

About the role

Arada is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end execution of development projects in Sharjah, from design through handover. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and authorities to deliver projects that meet strategic, quality and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver assigned mixed‑use development projects across all phases, including design, approvals, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, handover and defects liability.
• Develop and maintain detailed execution plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers, and take corrective actions when milestones are at risk.
• Coordinate with the Design Management team to ensure designs meet cost, regulatory and constructability targets while driving value‑engineering initiatives.
• Oversee contractors and consultants, monitor construction progress, quality, HSE compliance and conduct regular site inspections.
• Work with Commercial and Procurement to control budgets, review variations, claims and payment applications.
• Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, securing approvals and building strong partner relationships.
• Identify project risks, ensure governance compliance and prepare executive updates for senior management.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in real‑estate development or project management, with at least 5 years managing large‑scale mixed‑use projects in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; Master’s degree or certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS or CIOB are a plus.
• Deep understanding of the UAE development lifecycle, authority approvals, procurement, construction and handover processes.
• Strong commercial awareness, financial management skills and experience with FIDIC contracts.
