Senior Project Manager – Retail & Mixed‑Use Developments

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex retail and mixed‑use development projects from concept through completion. You will provide strategic leadership, ensure commercial viability, and act as a trusted advisor to clients while managing multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project set‑up, contract finalisation, and team mobilisation.
• Define, agree and manage scope across all disciplines, coordinating sub‑consultants.
• Maintain primary client interface, conduct workshops, and deliver executive‑level reporting.
• Develop and manage realistic programmes, integrating base build, shell‑core, and tenant fit‑out schedules.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design through concept, schematic, and IFC stages.
• Identify and mitigate risks, variations, and changes to ensure delivery aligns with client objectives.

Required profile

• Proactive, commercially astute professional with strong autonomy.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with retailers, landlords, and authorities.
• Experience delivering fast‑track retail programmes and mixed‑use projects.
