Senior Project Manager – Upstream Oil & Gas

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PMC activities for a major upstream oil & gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering large‑scale facilities such as Early Production Facilities, sour gas and gas treatment plants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from FEED through handover, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start‑up.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, EPC contractors, engineering consultants and vendors to ensure schedule, cost, risk and quality targets are met.
• Oversee interfaces between upstream production, gas gathering, pipelines and processing facilities.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with a proven record of delivering mega‑projects valued at USD 500 million or more.
• Extensive PMC/EPC experience on large ADNOC or comparable upstream projects, including brownfield and greenfield environments.
• Strong stakeholder management with ADNOC and client representatives.
