Senior Quant Developer - Algorithmic Trading Systems

About the role

Axiom Recruit is recruiting a Senior Quantitative Developer in Dubai for a digital asset trading business building institutional-grade crypto trading infrastructure. The role covers multi-exchange trading, order management, arbitrage scanning and low-latency execution, and is advertised as full time.

Key responsibilities

• Build a multi-exchange trading platform connecting 10-20+ crypto exchanges
• Architect a high-performance Order Management System (OMS) from the ground up
• Develop real-time scanners for cross-exchange and funding rate arbitrage opportunities
• Optimise low-latency execution and high-throughput data pipelines in Python and C++
• Build backtesting tools and frameworks for new trading strategies
• Own production reliability, execution quality and risk controls

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in quantitative development or algorithmic trading systems
• Proven OMS experience, including multi-exchange and synchronised execution systems
• Ability to build trading products independently or lead technical development
• Preferred: knowledge of low-latency hosting and VPS deployment, and exposure to machine learning, XGBoost, NLP or sentiment analysis

Required skills

• Microservices, distributed systems and production performance optimisation
• REST, WebSockets and FIX 4.4 APIs
• Strong Python and C++, ideally with Django or Flask
• Backtesting and market data processing
• Preferred: regulated markets, MT4/MT5 or forex/CFD systems; exchanges such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, Deribit or Hyperliquid
