Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects in the UAE. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure accurate cost control and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly payment certificates for contractors.
• Maintain and streamline cost and quantity records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead the preparation of variation orders and evaluate claims.
• Advise on contractual matters, resource allocation and measurement procedures.
• Produce monthly financial statements and final account documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor the activities of the QS team on‑site and in client offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years post‑graduate experience in quantity surveying, with at least 6 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in contract variations, claims analysis and construction supervision.
• Chartered membership (RICS, CIArb) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera scheduling software.
• Experience using Estimate/Schedule Transfer tools, Contract Manager and DMCS.
• Strong knowledge of construction contract documents, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written contractual correspondence and verbal communication.
