Senior Quantity Surveyor - Road And Infrastructure

About the role

Al Marwan Developments is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial and contractual management of large‑scale road and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role focuses on cost and value management, contract administration, valuations, variations and final accounts, supporting the delivery of high‑quality infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost/value control systems and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Prepare and submit monthly commercial reports to senior management.
• Maintain relationships with client and consultant quantity surveyors.
• Administer contracts in line with local and international standards, including FIDIC Red and Yellow Books.
• Identify, evaluate and submit variations, new rates and change orders.
• Provide commercial input for risk management and financial performance.
• Support claim preparation, dispute resolution and contractual issue handling.
• Conduct detailed measurements for final accounts and cost verification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably on UAE infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of road, drainage, utilities, bridges, metro and airport construction.
• Deep knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE procurement processes.
• Proven ability to produce accurate cost/value reports and commercial analysis.
