Senior R&D Engineer – CURE Chemicals Specialist

About the role

Gradiant is seeking a senior R&D Engineer to lead the development and commercialization of its CURE chemicals portfolio. The role focuses on delivering advanced chemical treatment solutions for refineries, upstream oil & gas, petrochemical plants, and industrial water and wastewater applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CURE chemicals across oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, utility, and wastewater sectors.
• Lead formulation evaluation, lab‑scale validation, performance optimization, and application testing.
• Manage product trials, pilot testing, and new product introductions.
• Prepare technical submissions, chemical treatment proposals, and performance reports for customers.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Present findings to cross‑functional teams and integrate R&D outcomes into operational practices.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in refinery, upstream oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial wastewater treatment chemicals.
• Proven track record in specialty formulation development, product commercialization, and customer‑facing technical leadership.
• Ability to bridge research, operations, sales, and customer requirements to deliver differentiated chemical solutions.
