Senior Recruiter

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to support a tier‑one main contractor in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will lead end‑to‑end recruitment for multiple construction projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for project sites and branch‑office vacancies, from requisition to offer acceptance.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define manpower needs, job specifications, priorities and target start dates.
• Create and publish job ads on relevant platforms and professional networks.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment agencies, employee referrals and targeted database searches.
• Screen applications against technical experience, qualifications, salary expectations and project requirements.
• Conduct initial interviews, prepare shortlists and coordinate interview schedules with project and department representatives.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate records and vacancy status updates.
• Prepare salary comparisons, draft employment offers and communicate them to selected candidates.
• Perform reference checks, verify employment information and coordinate onboarding handover.
• Develop candidate pipelines for recurring, specialist and priority construction positions and produce regular recruitment reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of end‑to‑end recruitment experience in the construction sector.
• Prior experience recruiting for a main contractor or managing vacancies across multiple construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE employment regulations and company recruitment procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using LinkedIn, job portals and recruitment agency networks for candidate sourcing.
• Experience with maintaining recruitment trackers and preparing salary comparisons.
• Ability to conduct interviews, reference checks and coordinate onboarding processes.
