Senior Resident Engineer – Residential Villas & Infrastructure

About the role

KN International is looking for a Senior Resident Engineer to lead the construction supervision of residential villas and associated infrastructure in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all phases from mobilisation to hand‑over, ensuring compliance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, safety standards and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for successful completion of assigned infrastructure projects.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, inspectors and technical staff.
• Implement and enforce quality control and assurance measures.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures and financial control.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring critical milestones are met.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders and authorities.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, change orders and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence in the UAE.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on UAE construction projects, preferably with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and client‑facing abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region.
