Senior Sales Engineer - META Region

About the role

Axon is looking for a senior sales engineer to drive pre‑sales activities across the META region (Middle East, Turkey, Africa). Based in Dubai, you will work closely with law‑enforcement and public‑safety customers, translating technical requirements into compelling solutions that showcase Axon’s body‑worn cameras, digital evidence platforms and conducted‑electrical‑weapon systems.

Key responsibilities

• Master the full portfolio of Axon products and present them to senior IT leaders, CIOs, channel partners and end‑users.
• Lead technical presentations, demos and proof‑of‑concept pilots, coordinating logistics and tailoring tests to customer objectives.
• Provide first‑level technical support throughout the pre‑sales cycle, addressing questions and removing obstacles.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key partners to expand the customer base.
• Represent Axon at industry conferences, tech summits and user events.
• Travel up to 70 % of the time across the region to meet customers on‑site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a pre‑sales or sales‑engineering role within the public‑safety or law‑enforcement technology sector.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on‑site with customers.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Axon’s hardware and cloud‑based software solutions.
• Experience conducting product demos, pilots and proof‑of‑concept projects.
• Ability to engage with IT departments, including CIOs and technical stakeholders.
