Senior Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

Carrier is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas to join its team in the UAE. The role drives sales growth for Carrier HVAC and cooling solutions across oil & gas and heavy‑industrial projects, developing new business, managing key customer relationships and converting opportunities into orders.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned annual sales, bookings and gross margin targets.
• Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline for oil & gas projects across the UAE.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert them into secured orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with oil & gas end users, EPC contractors, consultants and key industrial accounts.
• Support vendor registrations, AVL inclusion and framework agreements.
• Promote Carrier HVAC products including chillers, air handling units, packaged units and customized systems.
• Work with internal engineering, product, factory and technical teams to develop compliant solutions.
• Review and manage tenders and RFQs, develop pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience within HVAC, cooling or related technical solutions.
• Proven experience with oil & gas or heavy‑industrial projects in the UAE or GCC.
• Experience working in EPC‑led project environments and tender‑based sales.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and applied equipment.
