Senior Sales Manager – Exhibition Portfolio

About the role

Messe Frankfurt Middle East is looking for a senior, client‑facing Sales Manager to lead sales performance across a high‑profile exhibition portfolio in the UAE. The role combines new‑business development, key‑account growth and team leadership to maximise stand sales, sponsorship and rebooking revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Drive stand sales, sponsorship and new‑business revenue across the exhibition portfolio.
• Develop and execute data‑driven sales plans to meet revenue and square‑metre targets.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, identifying new prospects and growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts throughout the full event cycle.
• Lead rebooking and retention strategies, proactively managing client risks and opportunities.
• Use market intelligence, competitor activity and client feedback to shape future growth areas.
• Develop partnerships with trade associations, government agencies, publications and sales partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and other internal teams to enhance the exhibitor experience.
• Support floor‑plan strategy and commercial positioning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of sales experience in the exhibitions or B2B trade‑show sector.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing key accounts.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to lead a high‑performing sales team.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
